Large-format print is unforgiving. A file that looks perfect on screen can come back blurred, mis-cropped or off-colour if it wasn't prepared for the exact print specification of the site it's headed to.
Our production team requires vector source files wherever possible, with fonts outlined and a colour profile matched to the printer's calibration, not a generic screen preview.
Every asset is checked against the physical dimensions and bleed of its target site before it leaves the design queue, since a hoarding, a bus wrap and a digital screen all call for different aspect ratios and resolutions.
Getting this right the first time is what keeps a campaign on schedule. It's a small, unglamorous step, but it's the difference between a launch date that holds and one that slips by a week.
